GROUP TRIPS
I’ve had the pleasure of hosting 3 group trips around the world, from Iceland to Alaska to Mexico. Every trip and every group has been so special, memorable and life changing! I am so grateful to have the ability to host these trips to bring a group of strangers into best friends all while exploring the most beautiful corners of the world.
“I was a part of the March Chiapas trip in 2024 through Nahua expeditions. I had such an amazing time on the trip. I was able to experience packrafting which I didn’t even know existed until I found out about the trip. I was able to forge friendships quickly in a new environment, and loved that I was able to meet people from all over with tons of shared interests.
I definitely learned a lot more about myself and how I love to travel, as well as my personal limits. The group trip definitely stands as one of the most unique experiences that I have been a part of, but more importantly, I think it was just wonderful being off-grid for that period of time, and truly getting to know everyone on the trip.”
“I went on Rachels Alaska group trip in 2024. Going into this trip I had no idea what to expect, I just had the intention of making likeminded friends and exploring Alaskas wilderness. I got that and so much more. Rachel hand picks everyone that goes on these trips, and does a hell of a good job because I made lifelong friendships, and met soul sisters that I didn’t know I needed! The whole week was SO special. Every excursion blew me away, I saw so much wildlife, hiked for hours to climb on a glacier, visited iconic small towns, we all got to drive UTVs all the way to another glacier where we all decided to cold plunge before a hot meal by the fire, camped at the most beautiful campsite I’ve ever been to, with unique portable saunas all to ourselves! We had delicious home cooked meals, gifts and goodies. We spent every night laughing around the campfire or having dance parties in the living rooms of our incredible Airbnbs. Rachel herself is an amazing person, she’s so adventurous and encouraging and hilarious! She puts her heart and soul into these trips and it SHOWS! She’s a light to be around, truly a ray of sunshine ;)”
“I went to Iceland with Rachel and it was to do something just for me and out of my comfort zone which was camping and exploring wilderness. It was everything I ever could have wished and hoped for and then some!! The planning and execution of the itinerary was amazing. We packed in so many fun adventures and even did some spontaneous things along the way and had an absolute blast. I walked away with friendships that are sacred and people I will never forget and I hope to see again in the future along my travels.
Rachel made everyone feel so included and welcomed and special and that is a hard thing to do with such a big group of people. But I know we all felt this way leaving this trip and we are all still in contact over a year later and that speaks to how special our bond became from this epic shared experience. I can’t wait to be able to join Rachel on another one of her adventure group trips!”
